Book: Mit Hitler Im Polen (With Hitler in Poland) (Item AH 23-1) |
||||
DESCRIPTION: This is a Heinrich Hoffmann soft cover book that traces in great photographs the history of Germany’s 1939 war against Poland. Hundreds of clear photos and about 6 pages of text, giving the ‘real’ reason that Hitler had to invade Poland. It was over the question of Danzig and certain overt aggressions by the Poles who believed they would be backed up by Britain and France. Make no mistake; most of what you hear from the ‘politically correct’ historians is pure ‘Hokum’! The Poles really did think that they could lick Germany and were going to do it with the help of the French and ‘John Bull”. They got a surprise however. The book has some really classic pictures such as the one where Himmler and SS officers and army personal turn over the Polish trumpet Banner to the Fuhrer. This was from the Polish 8th regiment of Horse Cavalry. Other pictures of the Supreme Commander with his soldiers are super! There are also terrible pictures of murdered German citizens (Volksdeutsche) with the German soldiers showing the corpses to the various world journalists.
Other pictures portray surrendering Polish military personal and jubilant German soldiers in action and on the march. The pictures of the Leibstandarte with unser Sepp are fantastic.
The victory celebration in Berlin is beautiful as well. Sepp Dietrich said that the “Polish soldiers were good fighters, brave and well led”. However, the “Deutsche Soldat” was the world’s best. The book is measured a 7 ½ x 10 and is in very good shape with a bit of age staining on the cover. A worthwhile archival addition to any serious collection. PRICE: $275.00 |
Book: “Ein Volk Ehrt Seinen Fuhrer der 20 April 1939 Im Bild" |
||||
DESCRIPTION: This was a special edition of the Heinrich Hoffmann series of soft cover books. There is a forward in it written by Dr. Robert Ley who was the National Labor leader of the NSDAP. The book is in beautiful condition for the reason that the original owner preserved it by fastening a clear plastic cover over the front and back covers (that is the positive); where a slight negative comes in is seen where the plastic was secured inside with tape and the old tape has made stains in the inside over. Unfortunately, the picture on the last page has been scarred by this tape but not so badly as to say “severely damaged..” All other of the72 pictures are intact and perfect. This was the birthday edition and is possibly the most gorgeous of all the Hoffmann volumes. The days of glory are revealed in such a way to be the “Germanophiles dream.” Marching units of SS, Paratroopers, Naval battalions, tanks and artillery caissons are seen in review. Most of the high leadership of the Party and Wehrmact are seen in the pages. Adoring children with beaming smiles greet their Leader on his birthday. Hitler’s April 20th birthday became a festive celebration during the time of the Third Reich bringing thousands upon thousands of Germans to Berlin for the elaborate festivities each year, but 1939 was the greatest of all of the gala events. A very rare and prodigiously important book. PRICE: SOLD Please Note: Actual images in this book are lighter and less sepia-toned than show on this website. The lighting was poor when photos were taken. |

Book: "Mit Hitler Im Westen" (With Hitler in the West) (Item AH 23-4) |
||||
DESCRIPTION:
This is a book published by the Reichsbildberichterstatter (official Reich photographer) Professor Heinrich Hoffmann. It has a forward by General Field Marshal Keitel Chief of the Supreme Command of the Wehrmacht copyrighted 1940 in Berlin. In 193 pictures (some full page others ½ page) the entire campaign against France and England are shown in great action pictures. The great missed opportunity at Dunkirk is shown as the Tommy’s are allowed to leave. Operation “Sea Lion” should have been immediately implemented. Scenes are seen of Hitler in Paris, and the great victory parade is vividly illustrated plus the greater victory celebrations in Berlin. Marvelous Hoffmann photographs throughout.
The book is missing the dust cover so the former owner has attached a great picture of the Fuhrer and we are not sure this picture is originally from the era or not but it looks great. Other than that, the book is in fine condition throughout. This is a volume that any WW II historian or collector should not be without. The book was bought at a book fair in Frankfurt Am-Main a few years back with other rare books that had been accumulated by a man who from the mid-fifties on had collected nothing but books from the libraries of famous people and organizations in the Third Reich.
This book was formally the book collection of SS Sturm 5/31 stationed below Hitler’s Obersalzberg home (the famed Berghof) above Berchtesgaden. This unit was a subsidiary group attached to the SS Totenkopf Oberbayern Standarte. We have some books with their bookplates inside the covers as well. The stamp of the 5/31 is inside the front cover of this book. This is a very rare volume and worthy of being preserved in a good collection. PRICE: $275.00 Please Note: Actual images in this book are lighter and less sepia-toned than show on this website. The lighting was poor when photos were taken. |
Book: "Hitler Befreit Sudetenland" (Hitler Frees the Sudentenland) (Item AH 23-5) |
|||||
DESCRIPTION:
Here is one of the most sought after books published by Prof. Heinrich Hoffmann who was the ReichbildberichterStatter Der NSDAP (Reich’s official photographer of the N.S. Party. It has a forward written y Konrad Helein who was the most important pro-N.S. politician in Czechoslovakia and leader of the German “Volksdeutschsepratists. He campaigned to separate the Sudentenland that contained 80% German speaking folk from the Czech land and unite it with the German Reich. Henlein aligned himself with the slogan “Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Fuhrer! One people, One country, One leader. The book is dedicated to the efforts of Adolf Hitler and Henlein to accomplish this reasonable objective. The Volksdeustsche yearned to be part of the greater German Reich. You can look up the Czech crisis on Google but, for the most part it will be history “written by the Victors”- Catch my meaning? The book is comprised of 87 photos many are full page 9 ½ x 6 ½ inside while others are measured at 4 ½ x 6 ½ all are sharp, clear black and white images. The famed Munich conference and agreements are shown with Chamberlain, Mussolini, Daladier and Hitler. Pictures of German troops entering the Sudetenland are inspiring. The happiness and fervent joy is reflected in the smiling faces of the people who were elated to have the chance to be “Heim ins Reich!” (Home in the Reich!). The soft cover book measures 7 ½ x 10 ½ and it is marvelous shape considering its age. Unfortunately, the former owner taped a clear plastic cover over the dust jacket and over a period of many years this tape made impressions inside the covers. The front inner cover doesn’t much matter but one picture (the last one) is marred a slight bit from the tape. This does not seriously detract from this beautiful and historically important volume. PRICE: $285.00 Please Note: Actual images in this book are lighter and less sepia-toned than show on this website. The lighting was poor when photos were taken. |
“Hitler Builds Greater Germany” (Item AH 23-6) |
|||||
DESCRIPTION: This is a Heinrich Hoffman soft cover volume from 1938. It is an incredible work that proclaims the conquests and aims of the German Leader and the adoration of his people. The subtitle is “In Triumph Von Konigsberg Nach Wein, “In Triumph from Konisgberg to Vienna.” The back cover illustration is worthy of note as it shows the swastika flag attached to the Christian Cross and says the symbol greets the swastika banner on the “Grossglockner" Germany’s highest mountain - - Fuhrer we thank you!
Contains 73 beautiful black and white photos, many are full page while others are 6 ½ x 4 ½ and all great! This in our estimation is the best of the Heinrich Hoffman masterpiece books. The entire issue is the feast of triumph that Germany experienced in the good years of 1938-1940 while there was a chance to beating back the hordes of Communism. We have talked with many Germans who are now aged and it is a common theme that they express that it was actually great to be a German and great to be alive in those years. This book goes far to illustrate that feeling. PRICE: SOLD Please Note: Actual images in this book are lighter and less sepia-toned than show on this website. The lighting was poor when photos were taken. |
Pictorial Book: Hitler Wie Ihn Keiner Kennt ( |
|||||
DESCRIPTION: This is a Heinrich Hoffmann book with a forward by Balder Von Schirach, Reichs Jugenfuhrer des NSDAP, (Reich Youth leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party). This is one of the special editions that has a “different” cover than the usual with this book. Basically, it is a study in pictures assembled by Heinrich Hoffmann, Hitler’s State Photographer over 106 pictures in beautiful sharp clear black and white appear within the pages. The book is in great shape except for the fact that the former German owner taped the dust cover down when he applied a plastic cover. And this made some marks from the old tape within the front and back covers. The last picture in the book shows some tape stain, other than that the book is much better than it should be being 70 years old. Please Note: Actual images in this book are lighter and less sepia-toned than show on this website. The lighting was poor when photos were taken. |
Book: Hitler in Böhmen-Mähren-Memel (Item AH 23-8) |
||||
DESCRIPTION: This is a Heinrich Hoffman-produced book. Hoffman was the “ReichsbildBerichrerstatter Der NSDAP” -- the official chief photographer of the Third Reich. The book has a foreword by Joachim v. Ribbentrop who was the powerful Reichsminister much responsible for the “d” freeing the Volksdeutsche of the Czech lands. The pictures are incredible in sharp black and white photography as only Hoffmann could do. There are about 73 great photos some of them being 6 ½ x 9 (full page) and the others are 4 ¾ x 6 ½. The book was published in 1939 in Berlin and it traces historically all the events of the German liberation of Bohemia and Moravia. The volume is in very good shape due to the fact that the owner once put clear plastic covers on it. The only negative is that he taped the cover in place inside the covers and the tape left some marks on the inside cover but no pictures are disturbed and all are in fine shape. Seldom as a matter of fact does one find Hoffmann books in this excellent condition. This Bohemia and Moravia edition is considered one of the rarest of the series. Don’t miss this one, you may never see another. Please Note: The images in the book are much brighter and lighter than shown on this site. The heavy sepia-tone was caused by poor lighting. |
Painting on Board of Adolf Hitler's Berghof (Item AH 23-9) |
||||
DESCRIPTION: Here is a magnificent oil painting of the famed “Berghof” Adolf Hitler’s mountain estate high in the Bavarian Alps in the Obersalzberg above the town of Bertesgarden. This is not a print it is an actual oil painting done by a skilled hand in the year 1941. The artist who is signed to the work is Schindler. This beautiful mountain chalet was the subject of many works of art in the Third Reich. Due to the fact that Adolf Hitler was in these years the singular most popular leader in 20th century European history. Numerous N.S. inspired artists came forth with artworks some very amateurish and others like this one -- masterpiece’s in their own right. This is the largest rendering of the Berghof that we have ever seen let alone the best! It measures 26 inches in diameter and is executed on hard grained plywood. The Berghof is shown in vibrant colors with the subtle grays of the mountains in the background. Above the building is a “Sonnenrad” or sun wheel swastika. This symbol is also surrounded by a mobile sun symbol as well that probably is the logo of the (Kameradengruppe” comrade group of Schwabach. Around the edges are the words, Gewidmet von Der Leiber = Kam. Schwabach. 1941 “Member of the Dear Comrade Group Schwabach 1941. The town of Schwabach is about 20 kl. North of Nuremberg. It was charted in the late 14th century. It passed to Prussian in 1791 and to Bavaria in 1806. The articles of Schwabach drawn up in 1529 were issued in drafting the Augsburg Confession of the Lutheran Faith. (1570). the city has had a rich past. In the 1930’s this city was particularly loyal to the N.S. regime, and even today extreme right wing nationalist feelings ignite demonstrations against the present internationalist policy’s of the Bundes- Republick. The Kameradschaft Schwabach still exits and is as NS in their thinking as they were in the Hitler years. We mention this only to illustrate the deep feeling in this city for German Nationalism that reaches back to the early formations of the Nazi part and here you see an artistic manifestation of this spirit. This is a very fine example of the art of the 3rd Reich with meaning beyond the norm. PRICE: SOLD |

A 50th Birthday Gift to Adolf Hitler from the German National Sports Director (Item AH 23-11) |
||||
DESCRIPTION: This is an ultra important “geshenk” (gift) to the Fuhrer Adolf Hitler on his birthday April 20th, 1939. Sports were a major part of the National Socialist agenda and Hitler gave every incentive to the people involved in athletic competitive sport. He believed that rigorous games would produce the National Socialist “Ubermench” that he thought necessary to build the Aryan Utopian state. The 1936 Olympics showed the world his plan in action. Germany walked away with most of the gold medals. Never mind the Jesse Owens canard- -it has been overworked. Jesse denied most of all the lies of the politically correct journalists in any case. The birthday geshenk is in the form of a beautifully hand lettered (“calligraphy”) document on stiff parchment contained in a brass cylinder that has the official National Sports eagle raised in relief in the center of the top cap and with several oak leaves surrounding this. There is also a raised (50) for the 50th birthday of the German leader. The present was sent on behalf of the Reich-Sport director to the Fuhrer. It probably was produced by the German handworkers association and it was more than likely sent to Berlin by these people on the request of the Sports Director who was Hans von Tschammer und Osten (1881- 1943), one of the most important Reichsleiters of the N.S.leadership staff. He was secretary of state in the Reichministry of the interior and Reichsportfuhrer in the central N.S. government. Von Tscharmer entered the NSDAP in 1929 and in January 1931, became an SA Colonel in March 1932. He was promoted to SA Gruppenfuhrer and leader of the SA Gruppe center in March 1933. He was elected a member of the Reichstag for the electoral district of Magdeburg on 19 July 1933. He was appointed Reich Sport leader and in 1934 as head of the Sport section of the Karaft durch Freude. Organization, The N.S. recreational organization which was designed to improve the morale of German workers and stimulate their productivity. As Reich Sport Leader, he implemented the N.S. policy of boosting German prestige abroad and maintaining public enthusiasm for the regime at home through the promotion of sports. From 1933 onwards, all sports were co-coordinated and great attention was given to physical training, active participation in sports and endurance tests, sporting prowess was made a criterion for entrance to certain schools and even for certain jobs. N.S. sports policy also emphasized the goal of demonstrating Aryan racial superiority in international competition. However, the dubious information spread about eliminating other races from such competition is false and the 1936 Olympic games prove this. Jesse Owens said he was treated much, much better in Germany than he ever was in the U.S. and that old prevarication about Hitler snubbing him is blatantly false and Jesse in his own words destroyed it for those who would look beyond the yellow rag news accounts of the time and that lie still pervades the “comic books” of today. So, dear collector, what we have here in this relic is a prodigiously important piece of history that should be in a museum or a very fine important collection. It is a verified personal piece of Adolf Hitler’s most valuable possessions in that its meaning and its presenter would have been very meaningful and precious to him. The cylinder measures one foot long and about 2 inches wide. The document itself measures 16 x 11 inches. Translated it says: “To our Fuhrer and Reichschancellor Adolf Hitler. Best wishes on your 50th Birthday from German Sports and we wish you all the very best. All German sports personal wish to give you a warm thank you for the support of German sports by you, our Fuhrer. Only through you, German sport becomes a very visible model in the whole world.” Berlin 20 April 1939. And although there is no actual signature, the words Reichsport Fuhrer leaves no doubt of the identification of the person presenting it (Hans von Tschammer und Osten). It would take a great deal to exceed this document in importance to the very soul of the Third Reich. Think about it! We offer this priceless relic at a very reasonable price considering its immeasurable significance. PRICE: NO LONGER AVAILABLE (# 6750000-Cz 14) |
