Hitler Picture (Item AH 10-1)

DESCRIPTION: Here is one of the finest pictures of the German Führer that we have ever seen. It was the cover of the Berliner Illustrirte Zeitung of the year 1939. It was the April 20th edition (the Führer ’s birthday). This one like no other captures all of the radiance and eye power that has often been called hypnotic. To preserve the magazine as much as possible we have gone the expense of having it professionally framed in such a way as to preserve the other side as well because it is also historically important. It depicts in line drawings two incidents of Adolf Hitler’s life and career. One is a picture of him sitting in a session of parliament in Vienna and listening in amazement to the liberals going at it. He couldn’t believe his eyes or believe what he was hearing. In the text Hitler says, “He must smile.” In the other scene he is shown in the World War I as his Bavarian regiment list overwhelms an enemy machine-gun position. He exclaims it was man against man! But, as always, in his heart, it was Deutschland, Deutschland, über Alles! from Mein Kampf. We have done a very special framing on this piece. It’s sandwiched between two pieces of glass. Large frame is 20 x 15 ½ inches. This would make a great centerpiece for any Third Reich collection.

Book Nürnberg (Item AH 10-3; PARTY 2-1)

DESCRIPTION: This is a special book that is a Third Reich presentation edition presented to important personages by the Chief Mayor (Oberburgermeister) of Nürnberg. This is an undedicated issue, but he front page makes it clear that the original copy was presented to Adolf Hitler on the occasion of his 50th birthday in a pigskin-covered cassette with brail-like and shaped decoration. It is noted that he received it as leader and chancellor from the city of the Reich Party rallies in Nürnberg. The 44 pages in the book are beautiful renditions of documents that were in true calligraphy within the edition presented to the Führer. The pages are in parchment and each one depicts a laudatory dedication to one of the heroes of old and new Nürnberg: Martin Luther, Gothe, Hans Sachs, Ullrich von Hutten, Kaiser Karl IV, Kaiser Frederich II, Richard Wagner, Ludwig König von Bayer, etc. The book is in very fine condition with a two-tone leather cover. This is probably one of the most beautiful volumes concerning Teutonic and Third Reich history ever produced. By the way, most of the greats within get one, sometimes, two pages of laudatory praise, but at the last part Nürnberg's very favorite hero, Adolf Hitler, gets seven. Search as you will, this is an edition seldom found. It was extremely limited. We have been fortunate enough to acquire two. The other is boxed in a wooden cassette and it was presented to Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler. View that at item number HH 1-5.

PRICE: $650.00; extremely rare and this is a very good price!

Adolf Hitler Tea Towel (Item AH 10-4)

DESCRIPTION: This is an original Adolf Hitler personal possession from the Berghof, Hitler’s mountain retreat in the Obersalzberg above Bertesgaden. This was brought back by an American veteran of the 101st Airborne, the group that did most of the looting of the Berghof. He brought back a few of these towels and some of the Wellner silverware featured in several books. This particular example is rather stained after sitting in this man’s garage for over 50 years, but it’s genuine and considered very rare, today. Many items attributed to the Führer, although genuine, most probably were never actually used by him, but the Obersalzberg towels most probably were as they were looted directly from his personal linen closet in the Berghof. The towel is 22 inches square and is of fine linen material. The embroidered eagle (peculiar to the Führer) is found at the right-hand bottom of the towel. It is about 1 inch square. This one has a small hole or two in it. The staining may come out with a washing, but we will not undertake this. We will leave that to the buyer. Here is a chance to own a genuine important piece of Third Reich WW II history for an extremely competitive price. Compare with Hitler items on other sites. Note picture from the book Collector’s Guide to “Liberated” Adolf Hitler Memorabilia by Mark D. Griffith, MD. Do not ask us to procure this book or where to find it. It’s long out of print.

Adolf Hitler Berghof Tablecloths (Item AH 10-5)

DESCRIPTION: We have acquired five of these fantastic table runners that were used on side tables in the grand dining room of Hitler’s Berghof in the Obersalzberg. These side tables were pulled up at certain points of the grand table and usually were for wine bottles and ice buckets that were never placed on this main table. They match, of course, in design the huge tablecloth. They are in the finest of linen with an elegant floral pattern throughout. They also have the beautifully embroidered Reichsadler or national eagle in the special design. That could only be used by the Reichskanzler, himself. Beside the wreathed swastika flanking each side are the initials “AH” (Adolf Hitler). You can compare this eagle to the formal pattern flatware and the napkin rings from Hitler’s personal dinner service. Some of the articles are slightly stained, but a washing could make them perfect, no doubt. But we are not about to risk it. Besides, we like things of historic importance to remain as found. None of these stains take anything away from the beauty or importance of these great relics of the N.S. Reich and its phenomenal leader. They measure 38 x 19 inches; just about the size and dimension of the tables they graced. They are sold individually.

PRICE: $1,700.00; we have only ONE left

Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf, 1937 Edition (Item AH 10-11)

DESCRIPTION: This book is getting harder and harder to find in the early editions like this 1937 volume. For being 67 years old it’s in tremendous shape taking all into consideration. Seldom does one turn up with the original dust cover that is also in good shape. The book comprises 783 pages and is 1 ½ inches thick. This is a great Hitler item worthy of the best NSDAP collection.
