| DESCRIPTION: Gottlob Berger July 16, 1896 through January 5, 1975 The man was a famous SS Obergruppenfuhrer. He was the head man in the maintenance of prisoner of war camps up until Germany surrendered, He was astounding intelligent and being always a really reasonable officer and he was responsible for several different offices. He seriously protected those soldiers in Waffen SS uniform whether German or not, and he did his duty with great dedication. He was the supreme NS patriot and Himmler considered him as a trusted and steady advisor. He was twice badly burned during air raids. Like it was with most German families he suffered great losses during the Allied terror raids in 1943 his oldest son was killed in action in the Bloody Charkov battle while serving as an officer in the Waffen SS, and his son-in-law Andrews Schmidt who was Volksdeutsch leader in Romania disappeared forever in the Soviet Union at the end of the war Oberstgruppenfuhrer Berger was indicted for various war crimes at the Nürnberg Star chamber court and spent many years in the infamous Landsburg prison. When he was laid to the eternal rest on January 11, 1975 the ceremony was attended by family, friends, and several hundred former Waffen SS soldiers to whom he dedicated so much of his life. Many of them were former volunteers from Germanic lands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, and some of the Funeral Wreath’s proclaimed "Unser Ehre Heist Treue" (Our honor is loyalty!) | DESCRIPTION: This is one of the most incredible rings that we have ever offered our customership, if it could be said, that. Germania Intl. had a particular favorite offering among the thousands of listed items then it would most defiantly be the finger rings of the Third Reich. Nothing fascinates us more. We have told our customership all about the famed and fortunate adventure in Stuttgart, Germany a few years back where we bought all the remaining silver rings and insignia made by Herr Franz Schnell, Germany’s Master Silversmith. (Look at the home page). Since making that wonderful purchase we have been extremely interested in the finger rings of the German Third Reich. We have sought out rings in several countries to include of course, Germany. And, we have found a few vastly important pieces. One of the greatest of these finds was purchased from Herr Helmut Weitze of Hamburg, a prestigious German dealer with great knowledge and sterling reputation. That was in December of 2008 at the show in Kassel. At that time, Helmut showed me a magnificent gold ring that was not only obviously unique, but also strikingly beautiful in its special design. This was the incredible ring of none other than the famed SS Brigadier-General (SS BrigadeFuhrer) Jurgen Stroop. This officer was the assigned leader who led the destruction of the Warsaw Ghetto in 1942-43. Jurgen was born in the shadow of the great statue of Hermann the Liberator in Detmold in 1895 (“Teutobergerwald”). He was the son of a Police officer and like Hermann (Arminius) he was a German with a deep patriotic outlook all his life. He volunteered in the army in WWI. Stroop joined the SS and NSDAP in 1932. His career took off in the election campaign of the same year. He was appointed leader of the State Auxiliary Police. He was promoted to Hauptsturmfuhrer. Subsequently, he worked for the SS administration in Munster and Hamburg. In autumn 1938, he was promoted again. This time to the rank of SS Standartenfuhrer (Colonel). After the invasion of Poland, he served as commander of the SS section in the Grezno Polish district on orders of Reichsfuhrer SS Heinrich Himmler. Jurgen Stroop took over from F.Von Sammean following Sammean’s unsuccessful Ghetto offensive at the outset of the Ghetto uprising at that time. A veteran of WWI, Stroop had more recently been involved in operations against Soviet partisans in the Ukraine and was familiar with the latest techniques in counter insurgency warfare. One of Stroop’s most historically prominent roles was the total suppression of the “Warsaw Ghetto” and the destruction and razing of the entire district. Afterwards, in an elaborately prepared report to the Reichsfuhrer now referred to as “the Stroop Report” he stated that “the Warsaw Ghetto is no more!” In the report, Stroop recalled: - - “What a wonderful sight! I called out ‘Heil Hitler’ and pressed the button. The colors were unbelievable. An unforgettable allegory of the triumph over Jewry.” He was subsequently named the SS and Police Leader in Greece from September until November 1943. Then he was appointed SS and police leader in the Rhine area until the end of the war. The rest is well known. He was (tried) and sentenced to death by the Americans but this sentence was not carried out, instead he was extradited to Poland where the Polish Communists tried him and gleefully executed him as was their wontthis was on Sept 8 1951 (6 years after the war). What did he suffer in those 6 years? We will not discuss the other side of the issue here but remember there unusually is “another side”. For every action there is re-action and the victors write their own often dubious history and the history of the vanquished as well. I suppose we can intellectually forgive them if they neglect to include a few details right? As to the ring, it is a magnificent relic with superlative designing. It is unique with no other one even vaguely like it; surely it was made for General Stroop on special order. The intricate design includes the letters J.S. but what is most incredible of all is how the letters are formed. The (J) is done in typical German “Frator style” but where the curve of the upsweep tail of the (J) is, it ends in a rune or character from the ancient Germanic language of the runes. This rune is the “Laguz” or symbol of water. The (S) is also in fractor but where it loops back at the bottom most portion it takes the form of a victory rune or the same symbol as in the runic S in (SS). These letters are laid in precise form beautifully executed in gold upon a slab of jet black onyx surrounded by a chain looking bezel. The sides of the ring also show jeweler excellence with the traditional Germanic oak leaves and acorns, with a numeral 7 on one side rising above the leaves and on the other side the leaves clutch a “Sonnenrad” or sun wheel swastika. back to the numeral 7 this number in ancient Germanic myth is the perfect or complete number. This is why there are 7 wonders of the ancient world. Seven has the primary numerological meaning of awareness and diversity. The number seven is the seventh sephira, the “brilliant ones” (Aliester Crowley). As to the “Sonnenrad”, it is believed this was the original swastika that Adolf Hitler took to be the symbol of his movement. It decorated the war shields of the ancient Teutonic warriors, of Hermann in the“Schlaht in Teutobergerwald. The size of the ring is about an 8 or 8 ½. It is without doubt the most beautiful and historically meaningful ring we have ever offered. A true museum piece! Its beauty and importance cannot be exaggerated in any way. It will be a main featured item in a long awaited book on German rings being written by one of our historical advisors. The ring was purchased by Mr. Helmut Weitze directly from the Stroop family in summer 2008 and a letter of authenticity from him will be provided. Here is a chance to acquire one of the most important rings in the world. We do not exaggerate! Along with this ring we will include an official copy of the Stroop indictment from the Tribunal (Star Chamber) court proceeding; this is also quite rare. It is the official book given to the German Defense team that was really only part of a pre-determined pantomime played out to mimic an actual defense. A defense that was all dressed up “with nowhere to go”! The book purports to chronicle the crimes of the defendant with statements, pictures, etc. In it is Stroops report on the destruction of the Warsaw Ghetto. It gives the names of the SS men killed and wounded in the conflict as well as descriptions of the battle and enemy losses. It is as we have stated a rare entity on its own, and with the fabulous ring it makes for a truly ultra important historical package. There will never be another ring like this-Don’t miss it. | DESCRIPTION: Here is a copy of the SS magazine comprised of cultural themes. This one was for the Duch SS. Published in the Haag in 1942. It is a particular fine issue visiting racial issues and heroic themes. There is a section that shows the ObersturmbahnFuhrer SS Christian V. Schalburg the leader of the Freikorps Danmark and Wiking Div.He is pictured with his handsome little Aryan son as they stand there hand in hand. Various strong, Nordic peasant farmers are shown and (“others”.) The Supreme beauty of the Aryan Volk in its women and men- folk beams from the pages. There are a couple of pages headed by a depiction of the Irmunsul (Ahnenerbe?). The book measures 6 ½ x 9 and is in great shape throughout. 65 pages. PRICE: SOLD |

Italian SS shoulder patch (Item WAF 10-4) |

| DESCRIPTION: Here is a shoulder patch of the Italian volunteer force in the Waffen SS it has the fasces of Rome as its central design. This was the 29th Waffen division (Italianishe NR. 1) they were primarily engaged in combat against Communist partisans (bandits). They put up a courageous struggle also against Anglo-American forces in 1944- 45. A substantial number of them were sent to the Eastern front and were engaged against Tito’s murderous Parisian rats. Although vastly outnumbered by the vicious enemy the SS Legion keeps fighting until 05/05 1945 and is virtually annihilated during the warfare operations. Survivors are mass murdered by Americans and Brits and the Communist partisans. Many resorted to suicide to avoid being captured alive. Many of the “Kampfgruppen” are cut off from the rest of their armed formations and vow to fight to the finish, then proceed to commit mass suicide. Whole squads disappear never to be seen again .Search parties are sent out by the Reds to dispose of the eventual survivors. SS Lieutenant Luigi Ippoliti wounded in the fierce battle against the Americans and in recovery in Cantus city hospital is brought out by the partisans and after being beaten and was tied to his stretcher and executed. In May 1945 a few survivors are tried by various ”communist factions for national liberation” and then summarily murdered, tortured and (shot) after dubious star chamber proceedings. The last Italian “Wehrwolf” dies by suicide on the steps of Florence's Cathedral, Rosary in hand, refusing to abjure to the struggle for “a “Better Europe”. The Patch shows some wear and slight tattering at its edges. Otherwise in good shape. It should be a testament to the raw courage of these latter-day Roman centurions who were martyred in the cause of freedom.

| DESCRIPTION: OK Collectors, Here is where the rubber meets the asphalt! We always hear about those bad Germans executing those innocent little patriot partisans, yet if you talk to any military professional, U.S., British, etc. they will tell you that they would have no mercy on partisans or guerillas of any type. U.S. soldiers executed such vermin in Korea and Vietnam on a regular basis. Those rats were no different than the Yugoslavian or Czech bandits that the Germans fought except the Caucasian ones were far more cruel and vicious. Many the young Wehrmacht or Waffen SS soldier captured by these scum were castrated, eyes punched out and burned alive by these filthy Communist swine .Unless you are a sickening liberal who has never tasted combat, I think I know what you would do after seeing evidence of their atrocities. If perchance a gang of them suddenly were captured by your unit. Hanging was too good for them, but unfortunately this was always the extreme justice dealt out by the German army and SS who obeyed their commanders and the punishment was administrated under strictly mandated orders. The punishment did not usually fit the crime. So, this brings us to the anti-partisan badge that we now offer (Bandenkampfafzeichen). It was intended to recognize the very dangerous task of combating against guerillas and partisans behind the lines of the eastern front and in the mountain reaches of the Balkans. The initial mission responsibility for combating these murderers rested with the army. However, control was handed over to the Waffen SS in 1942 and SS Obergruppenfuhrer von Dem back Zelewski was designated as Chief of anti-partisan warfare. In addition to the German fighters non- German soldiers fighting as volunteers in the Wehrmacht and Waffen SS could also qualify providing they met the requirements and had sworn an oath to the German Reich. Two basic design patterns of this badge existed during the time it was awarded. The variance was only manufacturers variation. Differences lay in the size of the sun wheel swastika and the snakes heads. The design has the Teutonic sword driven down into the nest of vipers that represent the gangsters known as partisans. The skull at the bottom stands for death to such vermin wherever they were found. At first the award was in bright shiny silver color but later thinking prevailed and it was thought to be an item that might glint in sun thus making the soldier a target. This one is in the first pattern with straight pin instead of the flat bar pin and the back is hollow. This would be the bronze version. The detail is astounding and condition excellent. A tribute to the brave soldiers who fought valiantly against the worst, most terribly cruel terrorists that hell ever produced. This badge differs from the reproductions in that the copies have four cutouts on the face while a real one has 3 Also. you can seethe fang on the highest serpent in the pattern and the head of the serpent does not touch its body. The badge is made of Tombak as it should be. We have checked this badge against every requirement that is mandatory for an original badge and it qualifies all the way so we believe it to be authentic. (Very rare)

| DESCRIPTION: This is an official Dutch SS magazine published all the way up to late 1944. It is in very good condition and has 32 pages with 4 black and white line drawings. 2 of them by the famous SS artist Wilhelm Peterson. It is a historic archival treasure. The volunteer legion issue’s from the Nordic countries are much more rare than the SS German Leitheft. But this one is very reasonably priced by the consignor.

DESCRIPTION: Here is a mint condition 100% original rare official sleeve title from the 3rd Panzer SS Panzer Regiment,“Deutschland”. It is in embroidered in the beautiful flat bouillon silver weave. It is uncut measuring about 19 inches long.
Woven in black rayon thread with the lettering worked in aluminum wire with the correct salt and pepper backing.
When the 2nd World War began September 1st, 1939, the future Waffen SS consisted of the regiments SS Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler. SS Germania, SS Der Fuhrer (see Waf 5-2) on our pages and SS Panzer Grenadier Regt Deutschland.
The Deutschland regt. was a part of Das Reich.
For the 1939 invasion of Poland the three regiments Deutschland, Der Fuhrer and Germania were grouped into a division, the SS Verfugungstruppe (special purpose troops). The origin
Much about this valiant band of REAL brothers can be seen by Googling (They truly were like the 300 Spartans at Thermopylae They fought valiantly and effectively for their European way of life against immeasurable odds.
In May, 19 the Deutschland Regt. surrendering to the Red army issued this communiqué:“The regiment Deutschland in Budapest now completely cut off without supplies with losses of 70% in personnel and equipment, at the end of its strength- must capitulate.
Tomorrow the regiment will march into captivity with all heads held high. The regiment which had the honor of bearing the name “Deutschland” is now signing off."
Much material can be found about this unit and its parent division “Das Reich” on the World Wide Web. (Read between the lines!) This is one of the most scarce sleeve bands of the Waffen SS and to find a 100% original in this condition is remarkable indeed. |
