Leibstandarte Ring (Item SS 1-3a; LEIBSS 2-2)

DESCRIPTION: This is the full-sized Allgemeine- ring of the elite Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler. This ring at first was issued, but only for a short time. Then it became an item that would be individually purchased, but the specific rule was that it could only be worn after all qualifications were met. it was widely worn, but definitely was not a required uniform item; however, this unit, especially this unit, was made up of young enthusiastic idealists who were extremely proud of their membership in this “elite of the elite” corps. So it was only natural that this art-deco design of grace and beauty would adorn the fingers of this Praetorian Guard named after their leader, Adolf Hitler, whose name appeared upon their cuff bands. This is actually the most plain looking of the rings, but it’s beautiful in its simplicity. Crafted in silver with 1930’s hard-paste enamel, it seems to say it all! Here are the victory runes embodying the spirit of the Schwarz Corps. You can hold it to your ear and if you are quiet you can hear the marching hob-nailed boots and the strains of the Badenweiler March. Place it in your hand and the arm may start to move upward revealing the Deutsches Grüss and you may go around saying “Meine ehre Heist Treue” for awhile. The ring is really that awesome in its deigns and historical significance. It is marked 835 (the silver designation inside). If you ever wanted to own the one best representative ring of the , here is the one; a Teutonic treasure indeed!

THE SS TRADITIONS GROUP PIN  (Item SS 1-4)

DESCRIPTION: This is a very rare silver and enameled pin with astounding detail. Within the SS organization there was a group of men that could be compared to the reinactors of today. This small but active group sometimes wore the costumes of antiquity as they served food and performed other functions at high state functions, often for Hermann Goring and other Reich leaders. They also acted as extras in U.F.A. films such as "Kolberg" and often wore 18th century costumes at school functions to teach children about the glorious Germanic past. Hitherto we did not know about any insignia for this SS "Traditionsgruppe", but due to a fantastic find in Germany last year a whole bevy of wonderful insignia and jewelry has surfaced that was produced by various famous Berlin jewelers who crafted such things in the Third Reich. This is one such find. We have found several of these, and it is possible they' are the only ones available in the world today. They are stunningly beautiful in pure 800 silver with a black enamel center with pure silver runes. Clearly marked 800 and they also have the crescent and crown mark as well. We don't know if it is an award for some high proficiency or if it is a first class "tinnie", but it sure is great looking in any case.

Silver Eagle and Skull Set (Item SS 1-5; WAF 7-6)

DESCRIPTION: The salient word here is "silver." The usual metal for the issued SS cap set was a white metal and also in aluminum. The set we offer here is jeweler crafted of pure silver and clearly marked 800. This is of prodigious relevance as the silver versions were quite rare and were not issued. The SS officer who was ‘button bursting’ proud of his membership in the ‘Elite of the Elite’ would purchase this set that is more detailed and it stood out clearly as silver and special!   They were individual purchases however. Each piece, both eagle and skull, are also marked with the 800 silver designation. There were various companies that handled silver insignia such as Assman, Wagner and Wilm, etc. Some of the pieces produced had the 800 mark under the jaw of the skull and on the edge of the eagle’s wings. But this 800 was clearly defined in raised numerals central to the back of the eagle and the skull (see the pictures). Examples that were by the other companies invariably had indented numerals not raised in relief. The collector should be advised to be cautious in this regard because certain individuals making modern copies have stamped 800 in sets that are not silver at all but are plated. Although this is not the main criteria for the recognition of authenticity, always look at the quality as the first consideration. This is always the main consideration! No other manufacturer even came close to this perfection and this cap set corroborates this excellence in insignia that is in essence jewelry so to speak. If you would like to see how we managed to procure these sets and many other silver treasures go to our home page and scroll down to the narrative entitled About Our Rings and Silver Insignia. Here is the saga of our greatest find in so many years in the field. We are truly proud to offer this, the finest in SS-N.S. insignia ever designed and produced by a master jeweler. We knew you will be quite thrilled when you actually see the stark beauty of this cap set.

PRICE: $2,200.00 for the set
