NUREMBERG PARTY RALLY PLATE (Item PARTEI 1-1)

DESCRIPTION: This little pewter dish or plaque is actually more scarce than the already-familiar types that are encountered so often with all the party symbols around the edges, or the famous one depicting the Hitler
car before the Fraunkirch. This is an earlier type, coming from the first of the Nuremberg rallies. It shows
the swastika with the Nuremberg (Wappen) or crest. The words that translate to: "The Reich Party Rally
at Nuremberg Ano-1933." The name "Reich" was later amended to Nuremberg. It measures 7 inches in
diameter. Very, very beautiful!

Nuremberg Pewter Plate (Item PARTEI 1-2)

| DESCRIPTION: This is one of the Nürnberg pewter souvenir plates that was sold at the party rallies and other N.S. holidays during the Third Reich period. Some of them featured the N.S. symbols around the edges while another showed the Hitler car with the Führer standing up taking the salute of SA and SS formations as they proceeded to the rally grounds. This one simple states Nürnberg die Stadt der Edlen Kunste Voll, "The City that is Full of Precious Art?" The center of the plate has the famliar Nürnberg city crest, the half eagle with the bars, wile the 6 panels show famous buildings of the ancient town. "The Beautiful Fountain," the Henkortor, the castle, the Albrecht Dürer house, and the Kaiser Stallungen. It measures 9 inches in diameter. This is a very nice old souvenir of this wonderful ancient city.

| DESCRIPTION: Here is the Reich's Party Day badge of 1939. It's common and usually smitten with deterioration common to this material after 60-some years. It shows the mother with child and the protective German eagle. It measures 1 1/2/ inches in diameter.

Program of a Culture Day Held at the Reich's Party Day of 1938 (Item PARTEI 1-4)

| DESCRIPTION: This is a fine little program booklet for a celebration held in conjunction with Der Reichsparteitag at Nuremberg annually. This was a celebration of Germanic culture sponsored by Alfred Rosenberg, the party philosopher and sometimes mystic. The program includes the symphony No. 7 from Anton Brukner played by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, a speech by Alfred Rosenberg, a presentation of the national prize for the art and sciences by Reichsleiter Dr. Joseph Goebbels. Then comes the address by the Führer Adolf Hitler followed by the National Hymn, Deutchland über Alles. The program measures 9 ½ x 7 inches and has the National Eagle Hoheitabzeichen embossed in the front cover. A petite but very important piece of Third Reich history.

Souvenir of Reichsparteitag (Item PARTEI 1-5)

| DESCRIPTION: Here is one of the famous Nurembergerzinntellers, a pewter dish measuring 8 inches in diameter with the ancient city of Nürnberg as its central design and around it the words Nürnberg Stadt der Reichsparteitag, "Nuremberg, City of the Reich Party Day." All around the edge you can see first at the top the Hoheitsabzeichen, Nation Eagle, and then clockwise the SA symbol, the NSFK (Flying Corps), the DAF (Workers' Front), the Frauenshaft (Women's Corps), the H.J. (Hitler Youth), the RAD (Workers' Corps), the NSKK (Motor Corps), and the SS. These were the participants at the party rallies. Nice condition with very little corrosion. Original hanging hook at the back is intact. One of the nicer Parteitag Andenken.

Reich Party Rally Album
(Item PARTEI 1-6)

| DESCRIPTION: This is a very fine and historically important album put together by a member of the N.S. Veterans’ League, Mr. Wittmann, who also held a rank in the SA. It is filled with about 160 photographs and postcards plus a real treasure in that two different types of admission passes are included; one from 1933 and the other from 1938. Theses are truly rare, indeed. There is a candid, never-before-published photo of Heinrich Himmler taken by Mr. Wittmann, himself. There are pictures of Munich, also, to include photos from the 2000-year parade of German culture. Early party comrade meetings, many great photos of SS and SA men, a large and wonderful picture of one of the carved eagles on an outdoor stone column. There are also lots and lots of original party history in photographic excellence. Pictures vary in size from 2 ½ x 3 inches to larger 5 ½ x 3 ½ inch studies. Two very rare Reichsparteitag postcards from 1936 and 1939 are included. This is a very wonderful assemblage of original photographic material: an archival treasure trove of early NSDAP activity.

| DESCRIPTION: Translated “The Party Day of Freedom,” here is one of the annuals of the Nuremberg party rallies. These are probably the finest and most historically important books of the Third Reich and chronicles through text and pictures the yearly progress of Hitler’s Reich. These are large, heavy books. This one has 434 pages of important text and fantastic photos of the most important yearly event of the new-to-power N.S. movement. It measures 9 ¼ x 11 ½ x 1 ½ inches. It was published by the Fatherland Verlag in Berlin. We couldn’t say enough about this fabulous book. You would have to see it to believe how utterly great the photos are; photographs of the N.S. leaders: Hitler, Göring, Julius Streicher, Himmler, Victor Lutze, the military commanders, etc. Hundred of photographs of ceremonies, parades, military exercises, SS and SA formations abound in this magnificent volume. Absolutely no book of this movement and period excels over this one for historical depth and depiction. The best!
