| DESCRIPTION: This glass ashtray is an official souvenir from the Olympic Games in 1936 at Berlin. It shows the Olympic
bell with the translated words: "I summon the Youth of the World." It is 4 ½ inches square and 1 ½ inches
deep, is in great condition with slight marring and scratching from 64 years of age. Nice piece.

1936 OLYMPIC GOBLET (Item OLY 1-4)

| DESCRIPTION: This magnificent Pokal, or goblet, was presented by the Lord Mayor of Berlin to the Reich's Sports Director Hans von Tschammer und Osten for his participation in the successful and splendid event of the year 1936. The supreme mayor of Berlin 1936. In German: Berlin die Stadt der XI Olympic Spiele Dankt dem Reichsportdirektor Hans von Tschammer und Osten fur seine Teilnahme an Diesem Erfolgreichen und Herrlichen Ereignis des Jahres 1936. Der Oberburgermeister der Stadt Berlin. The whole goblet is of 800 silver and so marked. It is a worthy art piece with the Berlin bear wearing the victor's sash while holding up the tankard portion of the goblet. The vessel is a little over 11 inches tall. The mouth opening is about 4 inches across; likewise, the base. Above the inscription is the swastika and on the back the eagle-for-sports participation designed by von Tschammer. It also bears the swastika raised upon the eagle's chest. This is a stunning Olympic item that is 100 percent unique and not only to the 1936 Olympics, but to a very famous world sports figure and one of the most famous leaders of the thousand-year Reich. This is a vastly important and a stunningly beautiful art object.

Books: Set of 1936 Olympic Volumes (Item OLY 1-5)

| DESCRIPTION: This is a complete set of the 1936 Olympia books. These are cigarette-card albums. Books one and two, (the first volume) are the games in Berlin and the Garmisch Partenkirchen winter-game issue. The Berlin album has 169 pages with hundreds of pictures of the venues and events, while the second has 127 pages with a beautiful fold-out map in the back. A few of the pages in both volumes unfortunately have some minor damage where the glue came through and warped some of the pictures. We notice that this occurs mostly at the back few pages of each book. Otherwise, the volumes are in pristine condition. The price is very low considering the rarity.
