Book Männer im Dritten Reich, Men of the Third Reich, from the |
DESCRIPTION: This is one of the books from the library of the Death's Head Division's elite Upper Bavaria Standard or Unit. Like others from this collection it is in fine condition. It was published as a cigarette album by the Oriental Cigarette Picture Company in the city of Bremen. The man whom we received the collection from made notes in this edition under some of the pictures. Such notes as would in short script detail the eventual fate of some of these victims of world revenge! The book has 241 pages and has color picture cards throughout detailing the lives and accomplishments of many of the NSDAP leaders, Reichleiters, Gaulieters, political leaders, and the high leadership Hitler, Göring, Himmler, etc. This is a rare and very desirable book on its own and then the fact that the PRICE: $390.00 |

Great Political Photo Album (Item NSD 4-2) |
DESCRIPTION: When we say historically important, that terminology befits most of the items featured on Germania's pages. This particular album, however, deserves this description in spades! This is one of the finest archival records we have ever had the pleasure of viewing. It contains wonderful candid pictures taken by some unidentified party member who often recorded historical events that are tantamount to photographic genius. Here was another Heinrich Hoffmann although probably not recognized as such. This man chronicles the Haus der Deutschen Kunst, its opening, and the ceremonies and parade where the featured theme was 2000 years of German culture, floats and monumental statuary pass before the viewer on the only parade ever seen of this fineness and grandeur. The ages are revealed through the use of pageantry unexcelled. Next, the König Platz is visited during the visit of Benito Mussolini (Il Duce). Three of the pictures look like purchased ones. Then comes the annual commemorative march to the Feldherrenhalle by the original veterans of the Munich Beer Hall Putch, other grand parades with SA, political leaders, Hitler Youth are photographically chronicled. The outdoor events of the Reich's farming organization are shown. The Kreigertag (veterans') day is captured by this man's Agfa as well as some of the pictures of Exhausted, sleeping SA trooper are nothing short of unique. A funeral of a fallen SA leader is viewed and a speech by the Gaulieter is shown as a new perspective. There are a few pages of scenic views in Germany, but the main emphasis is on party doings. There are 191 photos in the book measuring 2 ½ x 5 ¼ inches usually and there are some that are 4 ¾ x 3 ¼ inches. This is a large album with genuine leather cover that measures 16 x 12 inches. The cover and contents are in practically mint condition. Here is an album full of the finest of unpublished pictures. This wonderful album belongs in a good archival collection.

Nazi Political Flag-Pole Top (Item NSD 4-3; SA 6-6) |
DESCRIPTION: This is the early-style flag-pole top with the pointed wings, 1933 to 1934. This one is in great shape with the additional flying-saucer-style pole buffer that keeps the eagle from turning at undesired angles when used. You can see one of these pole tops on John Gunderson’s web page at $450, but it is missing the extra retainer piece. It is unusual to see one complete. This top is in beautiful condition with the black swastika intact with original paint. Very nice early Kampfzeit article.
