DAS HEERS (GERMAN ARMY) VICTORY RING (Item WEHR 3-1)
| DESCRIPTION: This is the most beautiful ring of the Third Reich. It is fully enameled. These rings were crafted for the Waffen-SS, army, navy, and air force and were never officially issued, although battlefield pickups were actually noted. The rings were designed basically the same, but for the central design, which would be different as to branch of service. There was a special one for the SS Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler (LAH). The rings were mostly found in April 1997 at the Stuttgart Military Show. When and elderly gentleman attended the show with his son, he approached several dealers and showed them an entire cigar box of National Socialist and military rings, pendants, medallions, etc. He recounted that in 1945 as Berlin was crushed and in flames he visited clandestinely several jewelry firms that he had worked for. He had been a free-lance finisher and enameller and worked from time to time for Wagner, Wilm, Deshler, and other smaller shops. Knowing that many of these wonderful pieces would be lost to the marauding looting Russian barbarians, he decided to go on the dangerous mission to rescue many of these artistic treasures, many that he had either constructed, designed, or finished himself. Many of the items left on the workbenches were prototypes and these victory rings were in that category. Evidently, a few were somehow released, but the greater part were in the planning stage. However, several of each, except for the Luftwaffe ones, were scooped up by this enterprising jeweler and thus we were able to buy them from him many years later at Stuttgart. We know from him that there was a model for the Luftwaffe, but he was not able to find any at that precarious time. When we bought his cache of treasures we had to buy it all including many baubles that had nothing whatever to do with the NSDAP or Wehrmacht. There were wedding rings of the SS, but civil examples, as well. The were also cameo brooches, religious crucifixes, etc. The great thing about it was that these companies were contracted to produce, repair, and design jewelry for famous personages such as Himmler, Goring, Gaulieter Wagner, etc., and there were some fantastic items recovered and purchased by me and two German dealers. Of all the Third-Reich rings that were acquired the Victory Rings are by far the most beautiful and stunning. They would have been issued to generals, field marshals, and Knights-Cross winners had the war ended in victory for the Reich. This is the Wehrmacht version of the Victory Ring. The Iron Cross is featured in the center of the chest shield. This ring is in beautiful condition with no enamel chipping. These rings will be considered the most rare and sought-after pieces of Third-Reich memorabilia. They are available to the entrepreneur or collector, but severely limited in number. This is the chance to purchase one of the finest and most beautiful of all Reich relics.

GERMAN ARMY WEST WALL RING (Item WEHR 3-2)
| DESCRIPTION: This ring first of all is in the very finest detail of an German ring that you will ever encounter. Even the pictures cannot do it justice-spectacular definition. Note: the teeth are better than an honor-ring skull. The West Wall ring came in many designs, but the leering skull was always the favorite motif for the troops stationed at the western defenses. Here is a ring that can be worn without serious reproach from fools, yet, it bespeaks the valiant struggle of Germany's best in the crusade that has come to be known as WWII. Size about 10 ¼ (average man's size). Also see Item WEHR 19-13.
