M - 35 Parade helmet (Item WEHR 29-3)

DESCRIPTION: Here is a very fine large size completely original in M - 35 helmet in the correct color as used in the prewar headgear. It is clearly marked E - 42 at the back of the shell. On the side of the shell is the mark N.S.(68) this means the shell was produced by the "Vereinigte Deutsche Nikelwerke" company. One of the most prestigious of the firms producing the Stalhelm for the Wehrmacht. The helmet has its original strap, liner, and decal. The liner is there but well-worn, and a bit ragged. The one Decal (Eagle) is there also but scratched up however still better than seen in most original helmets. Strap is not marked. The piece is incredibly big and this is most unusual. It may have had the other Decal at one time but nearing the second year of the war the national color decals were removed by orders of the  Oberkommando Der Wehrmacht because the white in that decal showed up unfortunately as a sniper's target just to easily. So you're looking at a very fine original helmet, very deserving to be included in a good World War II collection.

PRICE: $1,250. 00 very nice!

Anti Partisan Warfare 1944

Anti-Partisan Badge (Item WEHR 29-7; WAF 10-6)

DESCRIPTION: OK Collectors, Here is where the rubber meets the asphalt!  We always hear about those bad Germans executing those innocent little patriot partisans, yet if you talk to any military professional, U.S., British, etc. they will tell you that they would have no mercy on partisans or guerillas of any type.  U.S. soldiers executed such vermin in Korea and Vietnam on a regular basis.  Those rats were no different than the Yugoslavian or Czech bandits that the Germans fought except the Caucasian ones were far more cruel and vicious.  Many the young Wehrmacht or Waffen SS soldier captured by these scum were castrated, eyes punched out and burned alive by these filthy Communist swine .Unless you are a sickening liberal who has never tasted combat, I think I know what you would do after seeing evidence of their atrocities.  If perchance a gang of them suddenly were captured by your unit.  Hanging was too good for them, but unfortunately this was always the extreme justice dealt out by the German army and SS who obeyed their commanders and the punishment was administrated under strictly mandated orders. The punishment did not usually fit the crime.  So, this brings us to the anti-partisan badge that we now offer (Bandenkampfafzeichen).  It was intended to recognize the very dangerous task of combating against guerillas and partisans behind the lines of the eastern front and in the mountain reaches of the Balkans. The initial mission responsibility for combating these murderers rested with the army.  However, control was handed over to the Waffen SS in 1942 and SS Obergruppenfuhrer von Dem back Zelewski was designated as Chief of anti-partisan warfare. In addition to the German fighters non- German soldiers fighting as volunteers in the Wehrmacht and Waffen SS could also qualify providing they met the requirements and had sworn an oath to the German Reich.  Two basic design patterns of this badge existed during the time it was awarded.  The variance was only manufacturers variation.  Differences lay in the size of the sun wheel swastika and the snakes heads.  The design has the Teutonic sword driven down into the nest of vipers that represent the gangsters known as partisans.  The skull at the bottom stands for death to such vermin wherever they were found.  At first the award was in bright shiny silver color but later thinking prevailed and it was thought to be an item that might glint in sun thus making the soldier a target. This one is in the first pattern with straight pin instead of the flat bar pin and the back is hollow. This would be the bronze version.  The detail is astounding and condition excellent.  A tribute to the brave soldiers who fought valiantly against the worst, most terribly cruel terrorists that hell ever produced. This badge differs from the reproductions in that the copies have four cutouts on the face while a real one has 3 Also. you can seethe fang on the highest serpent in the pattern and the head of the serpent does not touch its body.   The badge is made of  Tombak as it should be. We have checked this badge against every requirement that is mandatory for an original badge and it qualifies all the way so we believe it to be authentic. (Very rare)

Book: Mit Hitler Im Polen (With Hitler in Poland) (Item WEHR 29-13)
DESCRIPTION: This is a Heinrich Hoffmann soft cover book that traces in great photographs the history of Germany’s 1939 war against Poland. Hundreds of clear photos and about 6 pages of text, giving the ‘real’ reason that Hitler had to invade Poland. It was over the question of Danzig and certain overt aggressions by the Poles who believed they would be backed up by Britain and France. Make no mistake; most of what you hear from the ‘politically correct’ historians is pure ‘Hokum’! The Poles really did think that they could lick Germany and were going to do it with the help of the French and ‘John Bull”. They got a surprise however. The book has some really classic pictures such as the one where Himmler and SS officers and army personal turn over the Polish trumpet Banner to the Fuhrer. This was from the Polish 8th regiment of Horse Cavalry. Other pictures of the Supreme Commander with his soldiers are super! There are also terrible pictures of murdered German citizens (Volksdeutsche) with the German soldiers showing the corpses to the various world journalists. Other pictures portray surrendering Polish military personal and jubilant German soldiers in action and on the march. The pictures of the Leibstandarte with unser Sepp are fantastic. The victory celebration in Berlin is beautiful as well. Sepp Dietrich said that the “Polish soldiers were good fighters, brave and well led”. However, the “Deutsche Soldat” was the world’s best. The book is measured a 7 ½ x 10 and is in very good shape with a bit of age staining on the cover. A worthwhile archival addition to any serious collection.

War Service Merit Cross with swords
War Service Merit Cross with swords
War Merit Cross With Swords (WEHR 29-14)

DESCRIPTION:  Adolf Hitler directed that a decoration be struck that would recognize service in the furtherance of the war effort that fell short of the award of the Iron Cross. The resultant war merit cross was instituted on 18 October 1939.  The basic criteria for award centered on bravery and service not in direct connection with combat. The award was authorized for military personnel and for civilians who performed outstanding service  the addition of swords to the cross reflected bravery while that without was rendered for service. The first class was a pin back identical to the 2nd Class but worn on the tunic. We offer here the 2nd Class with swords. The reverse side has the date of the institution of the medal 1939.
