Re-created Historical Flags of the Third Reich
Page 1
We have made a decision to handle certain selected replicas of German WWII flags and banners. *Please do not confuse any of these offerings with our originals posted in the main listings of “Original Flags/Banners/Misc.” These fantastic replicas are just that: “fantastic.” There are of course other companies offering what would seem to be similar pieces, but having been in this militaria business for half a century we know all the minute differences in the quality and the correct portrayals of these pieces. The ones we offer are truly the very best you will ever encounter and in many cases, we have individually turned the designs over to these very professional weavers from private museum picture files. The prices are very reasonable and again we must say the quality is awe inspiring to say the least. We are sure you will love them and the prices are more than reasonable compared with other sites. |

Fine Replica of the Deutschland Erwache Standard (Item REPLICA FLAGS 1-1) |
|||||||
DESCRIPTION: “Germany Awake!” This was the watchword of the National Socialist Party under Adolf Hitler. Here in the size 24 x 24 inches, this banner is the cloth part of what would have been a full standard comprising a pole that had the N S eagle perched upon a swastika and under this was an elongated box that had in bold letters the name of the district whence it came: Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, etc. On the cloth front are the words Deutschland Erwache, while on the back are the words that translate to “National Socialist German Workers’ Party” (Nazi Party) and at the bottom see “Sturmabteilung.” This indicated that this standard was assigned to a brown shirt storm trooper unit (SA). In the middle of both sides is the nonmobile swastika in black, and trimmed with silver embroidered edging all around the piece. It also has black, white, and red fringed edging in an alluring resplendent display and it is accurate to the original specifications; the best by far of such items offered on sites. The price is extremely reasonable.

Banner of the Luftwaffe Legion Condor (Item REPLICA FLAGS 1-2) |
||||||||||||
DESCRIPTION: Here is possibly the finest and most beautiful replica banner we have ever seen. It is the ensign of the glorious Legion Condor that fought the communists in Spain during the Spanish Revolution. Were it not for the heroes of this legion, Spain would have surely fallen to the Bolshevik hordes of criminals that besieged Spain of such illustrious heroes as El Cid, who protected the land from earlier vicious, bloody adversaries and invaders. The hand embroidery on this piece is extraordinary with the silver flying eagle of the Luftwaffe, the bundle of arrows of the Falange, and in the center of the obverse side is the stylized Iron Cross with the large Condor eagle surrounded with the symbols as indicated above. On the reverse is the large, wonderfully embroidered armorial crest of Franco Spain. This has to be the most gorgeous replica banner offered. It measures 19 x 19 inches.
PRICE: $470.00; WOW!. Ultrareasonable! Look closely at the images. Fantastic! |

Pioneer Battalion 6 Trumpet Banner (Item REPLICA FLAGS 1-4) |
|||||||
DESCRIPTION: This could be a trumpet banner or it might possibly be a banner for a Schellenbaum. In any case, it’s a little “gem” with incredible hand embroidery throughout on soft, black velvet. The fringe and tassels are wonderful, as well. The back has the words embroidered “Hann. Pion. Bat. Nr.10.” This is the abbreviation for Hannover Engineer Battalion Number 10. Size 11 x 11 inches. This is truly choice piece!
PRICE: $385.00; a bargain indeed! |

Naval Trumpet Banner Befehlshaber der Panzerschiffe (Item REPLICA FLAGS 1-5) |
|||||||
DESCRIPTION: The German words above translate to “Commander of Battleships,” and probably refers to the command ship of the battleship flotilla. This is an incredible hand-woven replica of a glorious Kriegsmarine trumpet banner as used in ceremonies such as victory celebrations. The obverse has a great golden eagle and the words against a navy blue background. The reverse has a beautiful rendering of the Reichskriegsflagge (war flag)–absolutely “stunning” with all the wonderful fringe in gold surrounding it. This is without a doubt the absolute best version of a naval trumpet banner ever offered on the web. Competitors try, but never seem to quite make it. This is superb?

Banner of the |
||||||||||
DESCRIPTION: This, of course, was the banner of the “elite of the elite!” It was similar to the standard of the Führer except it did not have the Wehrmacht eagles interspersed with the national eagles such as are seen in all four corners of this LAH piece. The gold weaving on this banner is nothing short of incredible! The size is 24 x 24 inches and it is double sided. This is really great addition to any good Third Reich collection.
PRICE: $495.00; Very reasonable for a piece this fine. *On other sites, similar ones cost as much as $575.00 |

Magnificent Prussian Swallowtail Regimental Banner—WONDERFUL!!! (Item REPLICA FLAGS 1-6) |
||||||
DESCRIPTION: This might be the finest embroidered banner we have ever seen. Yes, we will try to have some Imperial flags and banners among this listing from time to time, but this one is absolutely resplendent. It measures 33 inches long by 19 inches wide. The embroidery is in a word, superb!. I have seen one offered in the standard version at $900, but the swallowtail is always much more romantically impressive, by far. The piece would be for the Prussia Infantry Regiment #32–Berlin. The banner is double-sided and equally beautiful on both sides. The painstakingly hard work that was done is obviously phenomenal. Look carefully at our images and just imagine this one hanging in your den or office. “PRUSSIAS GLORIA!” They don’t come prettier or more noble looking than this one.
PRICE: $675.00 |

Magnificent Berlin Sports Banner Commemorating the 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics (Item REPLICA FLAGS 1-10) |
|||||||||||||
DESCRIPTION: Here is an exceptional museum quality re-creation of a banner of the type used by speakers from the National Socialist League of the Reich for Physical Exercise (NSRL). This insignia was the official distinguishing badge of this important sports organization within the NSDAP. Here you see it embroidered and emblazoned upon a banner 30 inches long and 24 inches wide with the organization's exclusive eagle pattern in its center and the name "Berlin" at the top. This NSRL had a major role in the structure and coordination of the Summer Olympics in 1936, along with the Reichssportsführer Hans von Tschammer und Osten. The banner is in very excellent condition throughout. It has nine suspension loops at the top, and has silver fringe on all sides except the top. The silver oak leaves surrounding the eagle are in a word "beautiful." The embroidery work on the eagle is exemplary, as well.

DESCRIPTION: This one was carried by the famed Allgemeine-SS Standarte "Germania" (later the 5th Panzer Division). It was a tough, elite unit of the SS and was first formed in 1934 as the SS-Standarte 3/VT. The banner offered here has magnificent embroidered artwork in silver bullion on a rugged, black velveteen background. No effort was spared in the creation of this very handsome and accurate re-creation of this Schellenbaum banner. The entire presentation is incredible! It measures 15½ inches wide x 12½ inches long with correct silver fringe on all sides. The early N.S. eagle is beautifully displayed with the name of the standard shown below it in Germanic lettering. The reverse side has a smiling and winking Totenkopf. All four corners have exquisite silver tassels attached and a spray of three-branch oak leaves in each corner of the central theme. Here is an exquisite re-creation of an awesome relic of early SS pageantry.
