| DESCRIPTION: This long-out-of-print book (1974) is very sought after today, and very high premiums have been paid for copies that have managed to be found. This book was once deemed the "hornbook" of the hobby. The book contains 157 pages with over 100 brilliant four-color photos of medals, badges, uniforms, documents, weaponry, cloth insignias, etc. We have several copies--never used. They have sat on a shelf for almost 30 years. They won't last long, so buy now. It's great for photos and information, but remember, it's an important collectible on its own.

| DESCRIPTION: Long out of print, this was the "hornbook" for SS collectors back when it was printed in 1974. We have a small accumulation of these books that are in great condition. Besides being a fairly good reference with over 100 brilliant four-color photographs, the book itself is considered a rather rare collector's item on its own. Some of these books when found have brought $45 to $55 in some of the mail-order auctions as far back as 5 years ago. What we have on stock will not last long because some dealer will swoop up the remaining stock for sure, so now is the time to buy.

Deutschland Erwacht, Germany Awakened (Item GEN 1-5) DESCRIPTION: This is the famous cigarette picture book tracing the history of the NSDAP (Nazi Party) from its early history to 1933, the eve of total power in Germany. This is a book by a cooperative effort of the central offices of the NSDAP and the Cigarette Picture Service in Hamburg. Many thousands of these handsome volumes were published, but specimens like this, especially in this immaculate condition, are quite scarce today. The fine glossy pictures are mostly pasted into the book and the work is complete. There are 152 pages and a spectacular foldout at the back of the review of the SA and SS standards at the Nuremberg party rally or 1933. The volume has literally hundreds of fine historical black-and-white pictures and a very moving full-page illustration in color of an SA man with Standarte who gazes at a young trooper who has died for the cause. The book measures 12 ½ x 9 ½ inches and is about an inch thick with brown, fabric-type covers. It truly is a handsome book and its historical importance cannot be minimized.
