SS Soldier Wood Plaque
Wood Burned Image of the Victorious SSLAH Soldier (Item LEIBSS 1-2)

DESCRIPTION: Here is something really unique. It is the handsome face of a soldier of the elite Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler Division. The soldier wears the steel helmet with the wreath of oak leaves that signified victory. We have been given to understand that this was the work of a lady married to a member of this the pride of the SS (the LSSAH). The plaque measures 13 ½ x 10 ½ inches and the work is very fine. This was the hobby of the lady and we are told the husband was one of the guards stationed at the Obersalzberg homes that housed the SS Wachtbattalion that guarded the Fuhrer Adolf Hitler when he was in his “Berghof” -- this was the retreat in the Obersalzberg high above the Bavarian town of Berchtesgaden. We know of another plaque that she did that depicts the Hitler House where her husband had so often been deployed. This is extra fine work and it truly captures the spirit of the SS men of the 3rd Reich. You can almost hear the Badenweiler March and also the words “Meine Ehre Heist True” as you gaze upon this incredible piece of folk art. Above the soldier's bust portrait you can see the Totenkopf death's head of the corps as well as the intertwined letters LAH. On the back is the eagles head with SS runes and Iron Cross that was used only by the LAH. We know that some time it also had the name or initials of the artist but this was removed due to the fact that the Bundes Government is today trying to forget its veterans and heroic soldiers and it is fortunate for us that she did not even sand away the runes and swastika. If our picker was a day or so late this would have been accomplished and what a shame it would have been. All the wood burning is done on a piece of natural tree trunk cutting and even the bark on the outside is intact all though it is over 70 years old. A very dramatic folk art piece indeed.

Heroic Bust of a German Soldier of the Great War (Item LEIBSS 1-3 & AH 26-20 & ART 17-5; BRONZE 2-7)

DESCRIPTION: Here is a beautiful bronze bust of a soldat of the First World War mounted on a marble two piece base with a plaque commemorating the campaign in Poland in 1939 and the participation of the elite SS Division SS Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler.  It says: Polenfeldzug LSSAH, 8 9 1939 Pabiance, 15 9 1939 Bzura. Ubergand Sochaczew.

These dates and places refer to battles in the Polish campaign Pabiance was captured by the SS Leibstandarte in Sept. 1939. The battle of Bzura was a battle in the opening campaign of WWII and fought between Polish and German forces.  The SS LAH took a major part in the offensive.  These battles were named as the Sochaczew area offensive.  This would be basically the meaning of Ubergang Sochaczew.  The statue with marble base is measured at 8 inches and the bronze soldatenkopf itself is about five inches tall.  It is unsigned but a fine handsome likeness of what we call the ‘Geist Des Deutschen Soldat” (the spirit of the German Soldier).  The company of the SS LAH that added the plaque thought evidently that this would be the appropriate piece to honor their company and the Leibstandarte in general who paid the Poles back for Bronberg, Eichdorf, Hopfengarten, and Marzheim.  Read about this on the web.  The Polish attack against these innocent people was on orgy of murder and rape that is beyond belief. The testimony of 593 witnesses established the fact that at least 3841 named ethic Germans were murdered by the Poles prior to the German occupation. Is it any wonder that the Führer gave the order to invade Poland?  Yes, there was payback (in spades) but the facts run contrary to the history that is promulgated by orthodox historians of today.  Part of their agenda is to paint a picture of innocent little Poland being invaded by the nasty Nazis for no good reason. Revision is bringing history to square with the truth.

Petschaft (Stamp) from the LAH (Leibstandarte ) Adolf Hitler (Item LEIBSS 1-5)

DESCRIPTION: Here is a very rare little item.  It is an all brass Petshaft sealing wax stamp.  This one was from the special SS Feldpost Office of the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler in the SS Sonderkomando Juterbog.  This was one of the two training centers designated for the elite of the elite!  The post had its own post office that continued to be used well into the 40’s.  The seal is 2-3/4 inches long with a seal portion that is the size of a dime (about 1 3/4 inch in diameter).  It is marked Feldpost and although the property of Juterbog it could have been used at the battle front as well.  On the other side is the engraved LAH proceeded by DCP. It is in typical art deco style throughout which was the predominate characteristic of this corps artist's embodiment. A truly rare piece of Allgemeine SS equipment.  Truly important and assuredly rare.

Wedding Ring of the LSSAH (Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler) (Item LEIBSS 1-6; SS 36-3; SS 21-3a)

DESCRIPTION: The SS had a special wedding ring and you can see above. This was the official wedding ring of the black Allgemeine SS (Schutzstaffel). The elite SS bodyguard regiment, the Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler, who later became the 1st SS Panzer Division of the Waffen SS had their own distinctive wedding ring similar yet different than the standard type. The Leibstandarte model had the motto of the corps spelled out partially in runic symbols. The motto was ‘Meine Ehre Heisst Treue” or My Honor is Loyalty and these brave men stayed absolutely and resolutely true to these words.

The most interesting thing to be seen when viewing this ring is that the letters (E) and (SS) and (T) are  done in Teutonic rues; also seen in the sentence is the life rune that looks like a (Y). This is the life rune of the ancients. The Sonnenrad, the sun wheeled Swastika, the Hagel rune and the Ty-rune are seen here. They were crafted in 935 silver for LAH Commander Josef Sep Dietrich. This was an exclusive contract. A few were also made in 800 silver content. There of course will be copies turned out by the usual fakers but ours are the originals and the sharp detail cannot be copied without distorting the finished project modeled by inferior equipment such as rubber lost wax molds. These rings historically were produced in massive dies and then hand finished and you will recognize that perfection immediately! This is the (Ursprünglich stück) “the real thing” and you will surely be very pleased with it.

We have a couple of these in size 9 ¼ and a couple in 9 ½ but they are very limited and will be snapped up fast. We have a jeweler here in our town who could size one of these rings but there would be some distortion in the looks and details and I hate to see them changed.  It attacks the integrity and the originality of the ring. If you can wear a 9 ¼ to 9 ½ ring you will be most fortunate as this is the ultimate SS ring ranking in importance just below the Totenkopf Honor ring. Of course some collectors have no intention of wearing it.  However, if you are planning an SS mating ceremony out under the sacred oak then you are fortunately enriched by having found this listing on the Germania International site. Wunderbar!

SS-LAH (Leibstandarte) Shoulder Boards for Obersturmführer (Item LEIBSS 1-8)

DESCRIPTION: Here is a very nice set of shoulder boards for a Leibstandarte first lieutenant (senior assault leader rank). Because they are piped in red these would be for an officer of artillery. They have the silver-white overlay with red Waffenfarbe laid over black-cloth boards. The LAH cyphers in gold metallic color in brass are beautiful. This is a very nice set of sew-on boards.
