DESCRIPTION: This is an absolutely original and very early print showing the transformation of German leadership form the old Field Marshal von Hindenburg to Adolf Hitler in 1933. Adolf Hitler Salad Fork (Item AH 5-4) |
DESCRIPTION: This is clearly one of the most rare of the Hitler personal silverware--a beautiful-condition salad fork from the Berghof, Hitler's mountain retreat in the Alps. Author, Mark D. Griffith, MD, shows this pattern in his book "Liberated" Adolf Hitler Memorabilia, published 1985, page 14. Considering that there could have been numerous knives, forks, spoons in the group, certainly the salad fork must be unique in that there was possibly only one. the major makers of Hitler silverware are Bruckmann and Wellner. On page 5 the Griffith book notes that this pattern with the curved 'AH' side by side was found only at the Berghof. The Wellner marks show clearly on the fine specimen. It measure 9 ½ inches long and 2 ¼ inches wide at the widest point of the tines. Note the pictures from the book. This is the "exact" pattern.

Original Picture Set of Hitler Visit (Item AH 5-5) |
DESCRIPTION: This is a fantastic group of 40 5 x 3 ½ photos. These are ORIGINAL, possibly never-published pictures of Hitler and various NSDAP dignitaries. Some of the pictures are very well posed, photographed, and developed while others would have been studio rejects because of shaping, posing, angles, etc. But, the all-important underlying importance of these pictures is their ORIGINALITY. The pictures seem to be in 3 stages. First, the preparation at the airport for the Führer and his entourage coming; second, the grand arrival and then the hand-shaking and visitation photos. SS, police, SA, political leaders, veterans, army personnel, business leaders, and notables such as Ernst Rhöm, Fanz von Papen, and General Field Marshal Werner von Blomberg are all seen in the photos. Adolf Hitler is seen in at least nine of the pictures, von Blomberg in four, von Papen in one, while SA Staff Chief Rhöm in two. Original one-of-a-kind photos of Hitler, especially snapshots go for as high as $100 to $200 each. We ask $1,200 for the entire grouping of extremely rare historically important pictures.
