| DESCRIPTION: The title translated is the post war period 1918 -1934. It is a bilddokumente, in other words, a historic picture album and it was produced by the Halpus Waldorf-Astoria Tobacco Company. It is a wonderful archival treasure showing in vivid color 2 ½ x 2 photos of the turbulent events of that time.
The dismantling of Germany’s Imperial War machine, the rising of the Communist insurgents, the resistance of the Freikorps and other patriots against the Reds. The inception of the NSDAP, the French occupation of the Rhineland with all its terror. Krug or Stein Commemorating German Sports (Item GEN 14-2) |

DESCRIPTION:This is from the Deutsches Turn verein. The Athletic organization that still today and turns out the greatest of German competitive athletes who have won prizes all over the world and especially at Germanys 1936 Olympics. Go to general 11-3 – Webmaster make link on our pages and you will see a sport trophy from the Deutsches Turn Verein and a little bit of information about this important organization and its importance to the German Fatherland. The mug measures 4 ½ inches high with a 3 ½ mouth opening. It has numbers on its bottom and some kind of a company logo. The design is two athletes standing to each side of a bust of Father Ludwig Jahn the Founder of the Turn Verein thus the father of all modern German sports organizations. Each man holds a wreath of victory in his hand & under the bust is a shield with the German National Sports insignia with its eagle peculiar to this organization.
To the sides are figures competing at football on one side and running of the other. The stein is fired in Beautiful navy blue color with all highlights in a soft grey. An important relic of the N.S. social organizations and a nation’s quest for physical health for its people. PRICE: $450.00 |

Book: “Sieh: Das Herz Europas” (See the Heart of Europe) (Item GEN 14-3) |

| DESCRIPTION: Von Stanley McClatchie in the U.S.A. Sieh means simply See. This book like no other in the 1930’s demonstrated to the world what National Socialism was and what it meant to Germany. The book was assembled from the very best pictures from the time of the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler (252 pictures) all selected by an American by the name of Stanley McClatchie who was obviously enamored with all the Hitler Reich stood for. The book was copyrighted by Hitler’s favorite photographer, Herr Heinrich Hoffmann and most of the pictures were by him and his camera crew. McClatchy was from Los Angeles and he caught the ‘N.S. Fever” when attending the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. What he saw and felt inspired him to put this wonderful photographic study together. He was as every red blooded American “should be” a staunch anti-Communist and he fervently believed that his country should be allied with Germany to combat and destroy the Bolshevik menace from the earth before the Western World was devoured. Every aspect of the N.S. agenda was favored by McClatchy and he in turn was treated like a visiting Prince by the Party faithful. German strident advances in architecture, art, health and pure joy on the part of the people did not escape his gaze. The forward to this book in German is full of genuine feeling in a very sympathetic admiring way. Stanley was a member of a wealthy and well-known Southern California family. He had lived in Germany prior to Hitler’s assent to power in January 1933 returning to Germany at the time of the Olympics in 1936. He found himself very impressed by the consolidation of political power that Hitler had engineered. By the industrial, technical and social revolution that had taken place in Germany under the NSDAP. After the war, the “Victorious Allies” and de-Nazification commissions sought them out for destruction. Original copies of this book are very scarce. A statement by McClatchie in yet another book could be possibly prophetic when he said “As for this man Hitler…well I believe we should take him back to America with us and have him organize things there just as he has done in Germany!" The book was published in 1937 (71 years ago) and except for a bit of scratching on its front cover, it is in great shape. It measures 12 x 9 ½. It has a dedication inside from Walter Hoffmann's cousin to Heinrich Hoffmann to a Sigurd Anderson on behalf of Swedish German Friendship. It was presented in 1942 at Hamburg. It has a stamp that shows the address in Stockholm of the bookseller. We would consider this one of the best all around books on National Socialism in pictures ever offered. Book: Nazi Picture Book (Item GEN 14-4) |

DESCRIPTION: This is probably the last one available on terra firma! Glick is world renown for his photographic excellence. Somehow, Glick got hold of these original negatives; not one of these magnificent photos was ever published anywhere else. (You can be assured of that) They are mostly 7 ½ x 6 with some 7x 4 as well. We can’t begin to picture all the pictures. There are about 60 of them, all photographic treasures. We do not wish to have them copied because that should be the right of the buyer alone, so we will show some of them in odd angles so as to make it difficult for the guy who wants to copy them for publication or whatever. The text that is presented at the beginning of the book is the usual opinionated dribble and drabble by liberals, but it is the photography that is the prize here. The book measures 7 ¼ x 9 with a beautiful binding and gold inset letters. It had a very limited printing back in the early 60’s, I believe, and it clearly states that is in a limited edition collector’s volume. It is in fine condition throughout and as I have stated extremely rare as only 1000 were ever produced. |

A Framed Official Set of Documents from the Deutsches Reichsbahn (Railroad) (Item GEN 14-5) |

DESCRIPTION: This is a beautiful set of documents that are nicely framed and with museum preservation. They are two promotional documents to a Herr Gerhard Evers; one dated 23 June 1939 and the other is 1 August 1944. The 1939 document promotes him to Reichsbahn Betriesswart. This refers to a certain railroad district director and the one from 1944 raises him to the official Reichsbahn Secretart, a very important office in the German railroad system. Both are signed in hand by the president of the Reichsbahn direction with official stamps of the RR offices. This is a very dramatic looking document with the large National eagle at the top in good presentation. The words Im Namen Des Fuhrers und Reichskanzlers is also quite striking and stands right out there. Of course this means “In the Name of the Leader and the Nation's Chanceler.” It also should be noted that each document has the embossed stamp of the Reichsbahn direction (Director's office). This would be a great center display for any advanced collector of N.S. items and particularly great if said collector had a particular liking for railroad inspired relics of that time. The documents are professionally framed in a large frame beautifully mounted with non-glare glass and acid free museum quality matting. The frame measures 22" x 27". The documents measures 9" x 12". This is one of the most beautiful and dramatic document groups we have ever offered and is most reasonably priced. |

Book: Aus Der Kampfzeit Des Deutschvolkifschen |

DESCRIPTION: Here is possibly the most rare book we have ever offered. It is an original edition of the Shutze und Trutzbund. This title translates to the German Nationalist Defense and Defiance Confederation, a Pan-German umbrella organization for extreme right-wing groups which used the swastika as their symbol. Adolf Hitler gave one of his earliest speeches at the Schutz und Trutzbund meeting in Munich. It was the first time he had appeared on such a stage and the first time he had tasted the addictive rush of adrenaline at facing a very large audience. The group was considered the elite organization within Pre-N.S. Germany and its membership was a who’s who in Germanys Nationalist activists. Dietrich Eckart, Reinhard Heydrich, Bernard Rust, Gottfried Feder, Julius Streicher, Kurt Daleuge, Fritz Saukel, Karl Kaufmann and a host of other important names were on the membership roster. The organization was heavily anti-semitic and it sprang up in the wake of the failed communist Revolution of 1918. The group had the view that the Jews had conspired with Bolshevik traitors in trying to subject their Fatherland to Communist rule. The group was formed in 1919. This organization revived the ritual murder accusation as well as re-printing Rohling’s “Talumud-jude.” The book has 44 pages only, but they are packed with text (German) and remarkable pictures that are not seen in other books, contemporary or antique. It has pictures showing the early forms of the swastika and anti-semitic handbills of the time. A great picture of a statue of Hermann the Liberator with Dietrich Eckart's “Deutschland Erwache” slogan on its base. Loads of anti-communist material and pictures of the leading members of the bund -- three pages full (about 60 members shown). The book was published in 1939 so it is basically a history of the Schutze und Trutzbund and its work and accomplishments. It measures 8 ½" x 12". The cover has the symbols of the organization. The book is written and assembled by Alfred Roth and is signed and dedicated by him. It surely was a very limited edition and most probably was only given to actual members. At the back of the front page there is a special presentation line that reads "this edition was specially produced for the herein named Gefolgsmann (supporter or comrade) and then his name is written within a lined space, Franz Steus Wirdt, and under this is the facsimile signature of Alfred Roth who was the Hauptgeschaftsfuhrer (business manager) of the Schutze and Trutzbund. Roth was the Chief Administrator of the organization. He was actually the man who founded the Schutze und Trutzbund. He was considered the foremost expert in the Reich on the “Judenfrage” -- the Jewish question. He was the one who coined the phrase, “Der Juden ist Unser Ungluck!” (The Jew is our misfortune.) Across from the presentation page is a tone poem hand written by Roth himself and he signed it in 31.12.1942. It goes like this: Deutschland Den Deutschen Germany for the Germans We can’t stress how important this early book truly is. The Shutze und Truzbundes, The Thule Society, the Freikorps were truly the vanguard of National Socialism. Had they not paved the way so to speak, the party of Adolf Hitler might never have made it. We can’t imagine anything so prodigiously important unless it be a signed edition of Mein Kampf. But it is even more rare than that...this is for the true educated Germanophile who will be most fortunate to procure it. DESCRIPTION: Translated this means Munich the Art City of the New Reich. It contains 113 pages in a soft cover version measuring 9" x 12". The pages display scenes from Wagner’s operas, statuary, paintings, architecture of the old and the NS era. Several pages of Munich ads, etc. etc. This is really a beautiful volume just filled with the arts associated with this the “Hauptstadt der Bewegung” (Head city of the Movement-- by the way -- “My favorite city”). A Small Original N.S.Banner (Item GEN 14 -8 & FLAG 1-9) |
DESCRIPTION: This is just as nice as they come and it is in very good condition, save for one small dime sized hole that you can see in the picture at about 7:00 outside the white circle. The banner is single sided and the white field and swastika is printed not sewn. The size is 30" x 50" and it has the bunting edge and fastening loops. This is the general purpose banner that had several purposes. The main one being that it is used to decorate a speaker’s podium but also to fly from a house window to show solidarity with the N.S. Party agendas. Banners like this are also to be seen in pictures of military vehicles of the Wehrmacht to identify them for German flyers so as to not be hit by friendly fire. Honor Prize from the Reichsnahrstands Exhibition 1937 (Item RAD 6-6 & GEN 14-9) |
DESCRIPTION: This is a beautiful pewter dish that is quite large, about 14 inches in diameter with the symbol of the Reichsnahrstand. This was a social organization that was formed by the Reichsminister for agriculture and the distribution of food-stuff, Reichsleiter Walter Darre. This was a powerful office empowered to intervene and regulate all agriculture. The title means “Reich Food Estate.” The RNS was responsible for price controls and the quality of farm produce. Exhibitions were sponsored all over the Reich of farming techniques employed in all functions of farming; even with the antagonism against the Third Reich which is still prevalent today, serious conservation minded persons respect and admire Walter Darre and this organization for its outstanding work in the fields of animal husbandry, sowing the soil and generally making the lot of the farmer as important as it surely should be (favored!). Farming was lifted to the level of importance with all the other critical functions of governmental administration within the Third Reich. The Zinn pewter plate we offer is a prize given at the Fourth Grand Exhibition of the Reichsnahrstand held in Munich in 1937 (71 years ago). This was the honor prize given by the organization with the Bavarian county-authority. The prize was presented for excellence and supreme efficacy in sheep herding (shepherding). The dish is in solid first grade pewter and of course pure pewter is a soft metallic material so over the years a few dents and bulges have been acquired but they just do not detract from the apparent beauty of the piece. The wheat sheath that lies across the swastika symbolizes the importance of agriculture to the well-being of the German nation while the sword is symbolic of the strength of the people as a result of effective use of the gifts of the earth. A very meaningful relic of the great social experiment brought low by the terrible fratricidal war, this is a wonderful example of an important ‘Blood and Soil’ item. German Civilian Gas Mask for a Child (Item GEN 14-10) |

This is an issue gas mask with wooden carry case.
After the German people and their N.S. government saw and realized that the British and Americans were not just bombing military and industrial complexes but these allies of Red Russia had now seen that the war was nearly over and now it was time to murder as many innocent civilians as would be possible. In accordance with the Morgenthau plan, the firestorm that was visited upon Dresden by British and American bombers accounted for roughly 202,400 dead -- 3,900 tons of high explosives and incendiaries dropped by 1,300 bombers destroyed the most beautiful baroque city in Europe. Germany was already on its knees. So what could the reason be to do this horrible thing? This was truly a war crime personified, and basically was an exhibition of warning to the Russians that were now perceived as the enemies of tomorrow! (*editor’s note) I, Paul at Germania, sincerely hope that bomber Harris the Monster who chose Dresden as the main target for murder is even now walking the hot coals down there.When the British Queen visited Dresden (an amazing bit of cheek) in 2004, she was pelted with eggs because she refused to even offer an apology for the WWII murder rampage. As to this child’s gas mask, it is one of the results of the Dresden bombing. When the N.S. government saw with abject horror what the allies were capable of (outright murder of civilians), ttey thought that these enemies might next unleash gas warfare as the next exercise in horrific slaughter of the German population. Most of the German factories were bombed out of existence -- even the firms that produced gas masks but they had to manage to produce some precautionary devise to protect adults and the precious little children from the horrible gas attack that they felt was next on the Devil's Agenda. They undoubtedly were right.
Gas warfare would have come forth had Germany not surrendered and I am positive that Berlin, Munich, Hamburg would have been the chosen places for a nuclear holocaust instead of or in addition to the Hiroshima cataclysm! This was also a warning to the Russians (it was only that!). The gas mask seems to be effective even though manufactured so late.
The box with carry strap is truly crude, the best that they could do at that stage.
The mask is definitely a child size and has all its various elements. It has the issue eagle and swastika stamp to the side, very faded but there! The mask case and all parts are in remarkably good shape. Not pretty at all and the reason for its issue was not a rosy picture either. Man's inhumanity to man, women and children was illustrated here and should be remembered for all time with disgust and indignation. Remember the victors of a war write the history of their participation in war and unfortunately they write the history of the vanquished as well. Do you think the people of Dresden would get a fair hearing today? I doubted it up to now. But presently revisionist history is starting to tumble the house of cards containing all the lies and distortions perpetrated by the ‘glorious Allies’ and their crusade for Democracy. Perhaps this little child’s gas mask can be considered a token of remembrance of this crusade of fratricidal war. PRICE: $375.00 Very rare in this form |

An Original License Plate for the Car of an N.S. Official (Item GEN 14-11) |
DESCRIPTION: Here is a metal license plate that is 12 ½ x 7 inches in measurement. It has two stamps that read ‘Der Landrat in Erlingen am Necker.” This means District Administrator in the City of Erlingen on the River Necker. We believe this plate is for some sort of officially sanctioned vehicle belonging to the N.S. Party and the stamps are showing the authorization of the District Administrator. The Plate was found in a scrap yard in the aforementioned city, it is rather rusted away at some points but still sound. A rather rare find. PRICE: $175.00 |

Carved Box from Ost Friesland (Item GEN 14-12 & ART 16-8) |
DESCRIPTION: This beautiful hand carved wooden box is from east Frisia in Northern Germany. The motto on the top of the box over the Frisian Coat of Arms is interpreted as “Stand Up Free Frisians.” According to 16th century sources it was first spoken at the “Upstalsborn” in Aurich where Frisian Judges met during Pentecost and is traditionally answered with “lever dood as Slav” or in English rather dead than slaves. Tthe motto refers to the legendary “Frisian Freedom,” a right to accept no rule besides that which comes from the Holy Roman Emperor and the Christian God! In 1933 however the Frisians still obeyed their God but now the Emperor was replaced by Adolf Hitler who they adored and of course their motto stayed the same. This box was owned by a loyal NSDAP member who serve in the SA Standarte commanded by Anton Bleeker in Aurich in Oldenburg Ostfriesland. He was as his family relates involved in the raids against the ritual slaughter establishments in Aurich, all the “Schachtmesser” establishments named after the killing knife were all were burned to the ground. This was orchestrated on the orders of the Gauleiter Karl Rover later this man was transferred to the SS and served as a guard at the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. The box was according to his family used to store his letters that he received while a guard at the camp and some pins and awards he received while in the SA and SS. The family for personal reasons retained all of this and destroyed some of it for fear of post war edicts. The measurement is 9 ½ inches long across the top, 6 inches wide and 4 inches deep. Besides the beautiful Coat of Arms on the top, the front panel has a scroll with Ost Friesland under a swastika. The box is beautifully dovetailed with decorative feet underneath. The carved SS and SA symbols are carved as a matter of his intense pride of membership in both organizations. The carving was accomplished by a master and of course the historical importance is obvious. It was hidden away for 65 years and only recently did members of the family decide to sell it. The intense pride of their ancestor was long gone among these modern reeducated Slav’s and they made a decision that perhaps it was better to be a slave than to stand up for those old Friesian values in this “New World Order” generation! Terrific!! Rare Reproduction of the Deutsche Adler or “Aar” (Item GEN 14-13 & NSD 18-10) |
DESCRIPTION: This is an accurate facsimile of a political broadside that was distributed on patriotic occasions during the “Kampfzeit” (the struggle for power) 1932, the year before Hitler's ascension to head of state (Fuhrer). It was an appeal for the German people to awaken all that was positive in National Socialism in difference to the shame of such obsentaties as the Versailles Treaty, reparation demands, and revolution, usury, government oppression, etc. It has at its top the proud eagle of the Hohenzollern Dynasty (1914). The next 1918 shows the mean spirited eagle superimposed over the cap of the Bolshevik Revolutionaries. In 1923 the eagle takes on the figure of usury and foreign control and influence. In 1931, police brutality against the National Socialists but in 1932 the proud German eagle stands ready to take his place in the “New Order” as the sun wheel swastika looms in the horizon behind him. We do not normally deal in reproductions, but in this case it is just a great item with much historic significance and we wish to share it with our customers.
